Sony is the Japanese firm that is known for developing innovative products in the business. There are a number of reasons due to which firm successfully innovates its business and organization structure is one of them. Sony has expert workforce and through balanced matrix organization structure it is able to make effective use of these HR belong to varied departments. This assist firm in innovating its product line and business at fast pace.
Introduction
Sony is the one of the well known company in the world and known for developing innovative products. The company was established in 1946 and from that year now till the date it consistently develops new product and innovate existing one. In the present research study, organization structure is discussed in detail and along with it background of Sony is also explained. In the middle part of the report, the Sony organization structure is discussed in detail and its support for the company innovation project and the entire business is explained in detail (Nthenya, 2016). At the end of the research study, conclusion section is prepared and in this way entire research is carried out.
Conclusion:
On the basis of the above discussion, it is concluded that there is significant importance of organizational structure of the business firms. This is because it assists firm in the allocation of role and responsibility among employees. It also determines the flow of information in the business. Balanced matrix organization structure assists Sony in giving a boost to innovation at workplace by ensuring effective utilization of HR and non HR in business.
