Business Ethics is a ‘subjective term’ which can be defined as set of rules and regulations of conduct that are mainly applied in all organizations (Beltramini, 2015). Business conducting all the activities must be in welfare of public and must not harm anyone who is living in the society. Every sector has some do’s and do not’s for their employees and they are given standard code of conduct on the basis of which employees should work. This report is all discussing importance of ethics in business.
Importance of Business ethics:
Business ethics are very important for every business because ethics gives the guidelines, set up rules and regulations on the basis of which employees of company can work in order to achieve their goals. It is important because it brings creditability in public. Public is always attracted more towards those companies that produces products which are not harmful that too on minimum price (Kelchner, 2017). For example, even giant company like coca- cola spending huge amount of money on advertisements that resembles that there products are safe and free from pesticides.
It is important because it also increases creditability with the employees’. If employees are convinced about the ethics of organization in which they are working, these employees hold the business in high esteem (Rodríguez-López, 2019). Even HR manager in companies have creditability for employees as they know that company also creditability in the eyes of public. Employees also get attracted towards company because of its ethical values rather than giving them any incentives.
