Individual contribution to the group:

Initially, our group chooses yoga exercise on which entire campaign was proposed to conduct for the client. The group’s members were agreed with this idea. I personally make an estimate about ways in which we need to conduct yoga related campaign. I come to realize that lots of preparations need to be done and due care need to be taken while conducting a program. Further, I thought that project was complex, it is ok, but we must prepare some goals by considering which idea must be evaluated. In this regard, my team members put forth idea to use Iron Triangle model of healthcare and considering its points access, cost and quality we identify that yoga exercise does not fit on its criteria (An Iron Triangle ROI model for healthcare., 2020). This is because the cost of conducting campaign was high due to higher rent cost of open space. Further, due to health issues many people were not able to join the group. Thus, by conducting yoga campaign, we would have limited access to the people. Hence, I play a crucial role in assisting group members to identify direction in which they must work.

Teamwork experience:

The team work experience was mixed as many times during project I observed that on specific issue team members views were different from each other. Team members do not try to understand each other opinion and show the adamant nature (Eddy, Jordan. and Stephenson, 2016). In such kind of situation I never take the side of any group and try to understand opinion on both sides and accordingly try to develop understanding between team members. It can be said that due to the adamant nature of the team members brainstorming happened and we were able to make wise decision. Adamant nature of teammates has both positive and negative side for the project.

 

 

Actions are taken next time:

Major issue that was seen in the project was that each individual has its own opinion and due to their adamant behavior conflict was happening within the group. In order to manage conflict in the best way I think it will be best to follow contemporary theory of conflict. This theory stated that there are two sorts of people one who take steps if conflict arise, and another one who does not take steps when conflict happened (Section 5: Conflict management., 2020). Those who do not react often enter into agreement with the front entity. This temporarily fix problem. I would like to reach to conflict situation and by considering theory will try to develop a trustworthy relationship with teammates so that conflict can be settled easily. By, developing trustworthy relationship broad understanding will be developed with all teammates and if any conflict arises, I will be able to be in a position from where another one can be made understandable my opinion. Thus, in this way, in future time period I will manage conflict related situation in better way.
